Last week I was really looking forward to the culinary walk on the Floriade. Unfortunately it ended up in a disappointment. In hindsight the time that was available for the walk was too short. And the restaurant that was going to serve our main course, was already closed when we arrived. They just forgot our reservation! Thanks to Roy’s persuasion we finally got our meal, but we missed one course, the cable car and we did not see anything of the Floriade.

This afternoon I have the opportunity to tell the 21 aldermen of the SRE municipalities with economics in their portfolio about C2C and the C2C BIZZ project. My main objective is to inform them and maybe they see some opportunities for their own municipality.

This week I went to Kempen Airport, to talk to Petra Hoffman and Nini Bos of the municipality of Cranendonck about Duurzaam Industriepark Cranendonck (DIC). Their story has made me very enthousiastic. The DIC offers a lot of C2C opportunities.
